I have installed Report Builder 2.0 on my PC, trying to access a Report
Server. I type in the url http:/srps-logging/reportserver and get 'Connection
Failed' 'Unable to connect to the server that is specified in the URL...'

I am able to create and deploy reports from my computer through Visual
Studio 2005. I even temporarilly allowed anonymous acccess to the reports and
reportsever folder in IIS.

I am not even sure how to begin to troubleshoot. Thanks in advance.

You have to use the Web service URL which can be found in Reporting Services Configuration mananger.

http://<servername>/ReportServer_<InstanceName>

If you're not using an instance in SQL Server I believe it's:

http://<servername>/ReportServer
